A Bag for Hope, celebrating our 14th anniversary, is a group of volunteer seamstresses making various kinds of crafts from everything from car organizers, baby items, beach and everyday bags, table runners, napkins, placemats, jewelry bags, microwave potholders, seasonal crafts and the list goes on and on and all are made from donated materials. This group focuses on supporting The Hope Community which is part of The Family Promise of Big Bend Organization which houses homeless families and children. 100% percent of this group's profits go to The Hope Community which helps these families and children with clothing, glasses, school supplies, and various other needs of these families. The following is a list of our upcoming craft shows: November 4 th, at the Artisans Market at the United Church of Tallahassee, 1834 Mahan Drive, from 9 AM - 2 PM: November 18 th, at the Westminster Oaks Pool House, from 10 AM - 2 PM; and on December 9th, at Dorothy Oven Park from 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM.
